The Scholarly Communication Department at IU Bloomington Libraries provides infrastructure and services to support the IU community in creating, sharing, and preserving their scholarly work. We believe that equitable access to data, research, and information is foundational to the production of knowledge and are dedicated to supporting this principle within the IU community.

Our Services

Across all IU regional campuses, we offer impact/metrics consultations, data management services, an open journals publishing platform, and OER consultations. We also manage three repositories: IUScholarWorks, IUScholarWorks Open, and IU Data Core.

For IU Bloomington affiliates, our department offers assistance with open access policy compliance and funding for open access publishing.
